1940s Weekend - 7th-8th May 2005 Sponsers

Every Year Raiseprint have contributed greatly to the running of the Haworth 1940s Weekend. This year has been no exception Raiseprint have supplied all the promotional material and printed the Haworth Gazette and 1940s Cookbooks at a fraction of the cost that they should have been. Haworth Traders Association wish to thank them very much for their continued support.

This year we had such a great response from the local school children to take part as Evacuees, that we were left in a situation of not having enough 1940s clothes, props and food for the tea party, for such a large number of children. Fortunately the Big Lottery Fund's "Home Front Recall" project was able to help with funding.

This year we needed two buses for the 1940s weekend Aire Valley Transport Group not only offered to let us use one of their vintage buses, but stepped in at the last minute when we were let down by Keighley Bus Museum who withdrew at the last minute. A big thank you to Greg Lawson and the Aire Valley Transport Group for all their help.
